Yesterday we went to a birthday party and they had a few games to play around the yard. One of which was a toss game, it consists of two golf balls connected to a string and you sling it to try to wrap around a poll. Well one of Breilyn's little friends tossed it and it hit Breilyn right in the face and it immediatley swoll up like a "golf ball". She was so distraut. We hurried and put ice on it and right after she said is it all ok. She is such a little trooper. Luckily it wasn't the eyeball!

That is so sad:( What a tough little girl you have. I would probably still be crying.
Ouch! Her poor little face. Hopefully it didn't bruise. I have played that game many times, and am always afraid of a little one getting hit, it looks so painful!

Oh my gosh that is quite the bump. Hope she is ok. Sometimes I think it's worse for the parents than the kids when stuff like that happens.

Rachel! I found your blog through Errin's.. It's so fun to see what's happening in your life. Your little girl is BEAUTIFUL! And, sad DAY about your rental house.. We had a renter like than in our house. It wasn't quite as bad as yours.. but close. It's pretty unbelieveable the way some people live, huh?
